Lyric Notes

I was just listening to Zero 7's song "Destiny" and had trouble placing the meaning of the phrase "gone to ground" in the lyrics. It didn't take long to ease my curiosity thanks to Google's define function: define: gone to ground got me:
"Hunting term when the quarry has taken cover from the hounds." Could be useful in a future metaphor... interesting word usement.

This in turn reminded me that when I first listened to Air's "Universal Traveler" I had a mis-hear. I heard "Universal Traveler" in the lyrics as "you need a soul traveler." Listen to it and try it, it works!

PS-- A note for Katie: this entry reminded me to tell you that in the production featurette extra on the Forrest Gump DVD, Tom Hanks says: "tabloid pastiche"

I love zero seven. Discovered them on the movie Garden State and now I wish I had actual money rather than just a music trading program so that I could go get some of the music.
